After a beautiful ceremony at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Hoover, newlyweds Christina and Rusty, along with their wedding party, arrive at The Harbert Center, courtesy of Rare Transportation.
Inside, guests mingled in the Atrium and enjoyed light hors d’ouevres featuring Arnone’s Italian Sausage. The signature cocktail was a huge hit – ‘world famous’ Yellowhammers from Gallette’s Bar in Tuscaloosa.
The tables in Beeson Hall are beautifully adorned with floral centerpieces by FlowerArt Designs, white satin linens and cashmere satin napkins, and dinner menus hand-written by the bride herself. Christina also designed the invitations, hand addressed the envelopes, and hand wrote all 432 guest escort cards – she is a very talented calligrapher!
Mr. and Mrs. Rusty Bunn were introduced into a room of adoring friends and family, and shared their first dance together.
Dinner was served…
Then the Fountain City Players got the party started!
You can’t have a huge Italian wedding without doing the traditional ‘Italian Wedding Dance’!
All the single ladies…
All the single men…
After a night full of dancing and fun, it was time to send Christina and Rusty off in style. Guests lit up the night with sparklers, and the newlyweds made a grand exit courtesy of Vintage Auto Chauffeur.
Thank you to all of the vendors that made this such a magical evening!

This was just too cute not to include!
Vendors and volunteers of all ages swiftly entered The Harbert Center Saturday,August 15th to set up for a large event benefiting Hand in Paw that would take place later that evening.
Vendor tables full of raffles were put up and decorated so that when guests arrived, they could bid during a silent auction on a multitude of items. There were eight themed pods including: Wine, Wine, Wine! The Artsy Side of Life, It’s a Man’s World, Woman’s Wonderland
Let Me Entertain You, The Great Outdoors
Pet’s Palace, and Delectable Desserts
On the second floor, paintings created by local artists and their pets were placed beside other items that would be up for bidding in the Live Auction. The Live Auction Items included

a Handcrafted Wine Barrel Chair+Wine Rack,
a Tanzanite Bracelet, an Unforgettable Long Weekend for Twoin New York,

several paintings and other exquisite items.
The Live Auction was entertaining and went over very well! The profits made went to Hand In Paw, and during the Auction, they had a very special presentation fr
om a child who is so beautifully affected by Hand in Paw.
The room was beautifully set, covered in black and gold
accents to add just the right amount of shine. The space used for dinner and the Live Auction was Beeson Hall, which is perfect for large events such as this one. The room is so open and is set as a blank canvas for true creativity to complete it.
“Hand in Paw’s Picasso Pets 15th Annifursary” was such a fun event for such a great cause! The Harbert Center always loves hosting such purrfectly planned events like this one!
Such a beautiful couple – this video captures the love and sweetness of their big day!
Plus it is set to Beyonce’s love song – Smash Into You from the I AM…Sasha Fierce album. Did we mention how much we love Beyonce?
